The biography

Elon has a younger brother named Kimball (born in 1972) and a younger sister named Tosca (born in 1974).

His paternal grandmother was British, and he has Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry.

Musk developed an interest in computing using an 8-bit home computer. He learned programming on his own, without anyone's help, at the age of twelve. He sold the BASIC code for a video game he made called Blastar to a magazine called PC and the Technology Office for about $500.

In his childhood, Musk used to read Isaac Asimov's series of issues, from which he extracted the most important principles that he follows so far, which are: "You must take many measures and actions that will prolong civilization, reduce the possibility of another dark age or reduce its duration if there is one."

Mask was exposed to many cases of bullying and harassment, and he was once taken to a hospital when a group of children threw him down the stairs in a fight between them. It didn't end there as the group beat him to the ground until he lost consciousness.

Musk attended a private preparatory school, Waterkloof Preparatory School, which teaches English conversations.

Musk graduated from Pretoria High School for Boys and moved to Canada in June 1989 before he was eighteen years old, after obtaining Canadian citizenship with the help of his Canadian mother.

Education:

When Musk turned 17, he was accepted into Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. And by 1992, that is, after spending two years at the university, Musk moved to study at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a bachelor's degree in physics from the College of Arts and Sciences, and a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School of Business affiliated with it. Mask took an additional year to complete his second bachelor's degree. At the University of Pennsylvania, Musk and classmate Ben Ado Resi have turned a 10-bedroom dorm room into a casual nightclub. In 1995, at the age of 24, Musk moved to California to begin a PhD thesis in physics and properties of materials at Stanford University, but he left the thesis after two days to devote himself to his interests and implementation of his ideas for developing the Internet and providing renewable energy for spaceships. In 2002, Musk obtained US citizenship.
